Child safety standards
Gavera is a product of ServiceBook Ltd. These standards set out who can use Gavera, what we never allow, how to report a concern, and what we do when we receive one.
Gavera is for adults
Gavera is for people aged 18 and over. Sign-up asks for a date of birth and rejects anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
What is prohibited
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is prohibited on Gavera in every form. That includes grooming or any attempt to make contact with a child for a sexual purpose, sexualised content involving minors, and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Anyone involved is removed immediately and permanently banned.
How to report
- In the app: Friends tab → press and hold the person's name → Report.
- By email: hello@gavera.uk. Include the username involved and what you saw.
Every report is reviewed by a person. We never tell the reported person who reported them.
What we do
Confirmed CSAM is removed, preserved as the law requires, and reported to the National Crime Agency as UK law requires, and to the Internet Watch Foundation and the police. We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
The law
We comply with applicable child-safety laws, including the UK Online Safety Act 2023.
